Also, the organization with the most paid participants, not dollars, will win use of the city of FV’s outdoor movie equipment to throw a party or use for second fundraiser.

Coach Taylor Packer to lead the Baron Girls Volleyball Program.
Our second preseason game of the year was a huge success for the Baron Girls Volleyball Program! All the teams won with great scores and great mindsets.
The Varsity team won 3-1 with scores of 25-21, 25-19, 17-25, and 25-17. The Junior Varsity team, coached by birthday boy Edgar Palos, won 2-0 as well as the Frosh/ Soph and Barons team, both coached by Coach Dave. Thank you for everyone who came out to University High School to cheer for the Lady Barons as we battled it out with the University Trojans. Everyone raised up our spirits when we were down and kept us high as we fought hard.
We’ll persevere even more and work our hardest to battle in our last preseason match this Friday against Katella High School at home. Frosh/ Soph and JV play at 4:00 and Varsity and Barons play at 5:00. Make sure you come early to purchase some dazzling spirit wear!
Way to kick off the 2018-19 season with a clean sweep for the Fountain Valley Girls Volleyball Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Frosh/ Soph teams against the Westminster Lions.
The Varsity team, coached by head coach Taylor Packer, won 3-0 with scored of 25-13, 25-13, and 25-19. The Junior Varsity recorded a 2-0, and the Frosh/ Soph team, also won 2-0. Our Barons played hard against Westminster’s Frosh/Soph team as well. No matter what, everyone won in our hearts and our effort.
We also want to thank everyone who came to Lamppost Pizza afterwards to celebrate! It was great to get to meet all the parents and coaches. It was also a great way for the girls to bond. All the proceeds earn will help better our program as we grow to become the very best we can be. Hard work goes a long way and our season is looking good.
Our next home game will be against Katella High School on Friday 8/24. Make sure you come early to purchase some awesome spirit wear!
With the last week of our Barons Volleyball tryouts coming to a close, we would like to thank all our athletes who participated, worked hard, and persevered through these last few weeks. Congratulations players for making the 2018-2019 Girls Volleyball team! We are very excited to have you partake in a great season with us. With making the team comes great responsibility so keep up the good work and give it all you got. For those who didn’t make the team or didn’t make the one you wanted, we encourage you to keep practicing and work hard during club season and join our tryout again next FVHS Girls Volleyball Camp. Again, thank you so much for joining us on our new journey and we’ll see you soon!
Thank you for joining us during our second week of summer camp. This week we have built up the girls’ strengths as well as their team chemistry and communication. Next week will be our final week and is known as try-out week. We hope our lady Barons stay hydrated and rested. Good luck!
With the first week of summer camp out of the way, the Fountain Valley Girls’ Volleyball Program has grown in new ways. We have strengthened our returners to increase their endurance as well as help our freshmen improve their skills as young volleyball players. We would like to thank everyone who joined us on our new adventure with new coaches, players, and even equipment. Thank you and see you next week!
